patients to help target patients at particular risk of developing renal

Beacon agreed a study plan using patient hospital records that examined over 2.5m
patient episodes, covering 900,000 discreet patients over an eight year period.


We were able to provide our client with an analysis that supported their focus on renal failure patients and that allowed them to explain to local specialists the prevalence and incidence of renal failure following cardiovascular conditions in their practices and illustrate the added resource impact of this co-morbidity across general medicine, cardiology and nephrology.
